Welcome to Heads of the Valleys Conservative FederationWelcome to the Heads of the Valleys Conservative Federation. This Federation was formed as a result of the 2023 parliamentary boundary changes and is made up of two Constitencies, Blaenau Gwent & Rhymney Conservatives and Merthyr and Aberdare. Our members are drawn from all parts of the local community. Our aim is to give a stronger voice to the Heads of the Valleys Constitencies and to support the Union. The primary aim of the Federation is to represent the Conservative cause in Blaenau Gwent & Rhymney and Merthyr & Aberdare, working to secure the election of a Conservative MP, Senedd Members, County Councillors, Community Councillors, and Town Councillors across the constituency. In addition, we campaign to help elect a Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent, RCT and Caerphilly. We actively promote the great work local elected representatives do in their communities and help them to connect with you, their constituents. Each Constitency continues to maintain their own Facebook page(s) covering community news, council updates and items from our elected representatives. As well as championing Conservative values and politics locally, we also promote Party membership while supporting our own active membership base. We have a great organisation, made up of all ages, for whom we organise a varied programme of social and political events. We are always delighted to welcome new members. Our volunteers are at the heart of our local Party and you can join them by becoming a member, campaigning with us, or by standing as a Conservative Councillor in your community.
